LIZ BLACK X RIVER ISLAND DESIGN FORUM FILM RELEASE

The full film for the Liz Black for River Island design forum capsule collection has now been released. The film for which River Island had previously released a trailer, premiered last night, at London Fashion week’s Fashion film Launch event and members of our team had a great time at the event. The short film was directed by Mary Nighy and features a girl in a forest discovering pieces from the collection and three supposed princes. The collection is now available to shop online at river Island.com with with shipping to over 100 different countries and in select River Island stores in the UK and internationally. Alexandra Burke Performing at WellChild Event wearing a Liz Black Statement Piece

Former X Factor star, Alexandra Burke owns the stage performing at The WellChild Charity Event back in March. Alexander looked every inch the rockstar wearing Liz Black’s iconic 3D jacket from her Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Complimenting Liz Black’s edgy 3 dimensional jacket were a matching pair of silk shorts from the designer.

The WellChild Event raised over £130,000! A huge well done to the star for participating in such a wonderful cause.

Liz Black Collaborates With Face Lace at LFW14

Liz Black’s AW14 London Fashion Week presentation took a bejewelled turn this season with our exciting collaboration with Face Lace. Both Liz Black and founder of Face Lace, Phyllis Cohen were inspired by the works of artist, Salvador Dali.

Liz Black like the artist that she has proven to be, honoured the work of Salvador Dali by transforming some of his most iconic paintings such as the ants, moustaches and lips into walking masterpieces. Staying true to the source of inspiration face lace brought the concept alive with the make-up paintings of ants crawling up the arms of the model, Lobsters around the eyes of the models and gorgeous pearled lips on their hands. The concept and designs captivated the wonderful world of surrealism and were the embodiment of that which is truly ethereal.

Kimberly Wyatt in Liz Black at the OJAM Charity Event

Wearing a black and White Liz Black classic from the SS13 collection, Kimberly is the true embodiment of elegant femininity and sophistication at the OJAM Charity Event. The former pussycat doll had her handsome model husband Max Rogers on hand for the event. An incredible £1 million was raised at the event for Cancer Research UK! Congratulations to Kimberly Wyatt for participating in such a worthwhile cause.

We’re getting closer and closer to 2014 London Fashion Week and for those of us at Liz Black this is doubly exciting because Liz Black is coming to the high street. In addition to the release of her S/S 2015 collection, Liz Black’s collaboration with River Island; The Liz Black for River Island 9 piece capsule collection, will also be launching during the London Fashion Week and we are excited for the launch.
