Liz Black’s AW14 London Fashion Week presentation took a bejewelled turn this season with our exciting collaboration with Face Lace. Both Liz Black and founder of Face Lace, Phyllis Cohen were inspired by the works of artist, Salvador Dali.
Liz Black like the artist that she has proven to be, honoured the work of Salvador Dali by transforming some of his most iconic paintings such as the ants, moustaches and lips into walking masterpieces. Staying true to the source of inspiration face lace brought the concept alive with the make-up paintings of ants crawling up the arms of the model, Lobsters around the eyes of the models and gorgeous pearled lips on their hands. The concept and designs captivated the wonderful world of surrealism and were the embodiment of that which is truly ethereal.
